Bishop Dr. Robinson was born and raised in Richmond, VA.
Bishop Robinson was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit in November 1960, at the Cornerstone Church in Jersey City, NJ, where the Late Bishop Grady Dale, Sr. was the pastor. Bishop Robinson served faithfully and diligently in various capacities of his church. Bishop Robinson was licensed into the gospel ministry in 1966 at the Bible way Headquarters Church in Washington, DC. As a minister he continued to serve faithfully to the serious departments to which he was assigned. Bishop Robinson, as an Evangelist, conducted revivals in various countries throughout the world. In March of 1968, Bishop Robinson and Rev. Rose Robinson became the founders and Pastors of a church in Bayonne, NJ. Because of their "Evangelistic Nature: and their love for people, the church name Evangelical Gospel Tabernacle" came into existence. |

Bishop Robinson is also an active member in the community affairs of Bayonne, as well as Jersey City. He is President of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Jersey City and Vicinity, Life member of the NAACP, Secretary / Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of The Jersey City Medical Center, Member of the UEZ Board of Bayonne. Bishop Robinson is married to Evangelist Rose Robinson and they are the parents of five (5) children. Evangelist Rose Robinson has served faithfully and is truly a gifted vocalist, speaker and teacher in her own right and served as the first overseer of the E.G.T. Youth Ministry. |
