Central New York
"A Family Helping Families"
Providing Meaningful, Appropriate and Affordable Services for Seventy Years

Throughout it’s history Garland Bros. has provided funeral services that have riveted the nation for many notable people such as Police Officer Wallie Howard Jr., Johnny Gammage Jr., even our own beloved Aunt Jemima, whose likeness still graces the face of syrup bottles all over the world. Her real name was Anna Harrington, and she lived and died right here in Syracuse, New York.

Since 1929 , when it originally opened in Albany, New York, three generations of the Garland family and a host of dedicated professionals have been serving the Syracuse community and its families for 70 years, offering quality services a reasonable price. By understanding the legacy of commitment our family took in establishing Garland Bros. of Syracuse in 1936. We understand the level of excellence the past demands of us today. Honesty, tradition and family have been the key to the success of Garland Bros. Funeral Home.

We, at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, took an oath and are committed to providing the most economic and memorable funeral service to all families that call upon us in their time of need. We offer a full range of traditional and non-traditional funeral services, including Traditional church and funeral home services, Cremation & Cemetery Services, Shipping and Pre-Need, all available to meet you family budget, because you decide which services are best for you.
